Marietta First Church of the Nazarene is a vibrant, friendly, and multicultural Christian family. Our local assembly operates as part of the international Church of the Nazarene, which officially organized in 1908 in Pilot Point, Texas. Our global denomination was born directly out of the 19th-century Holiness Movement and Wesleyan revivalism, driven by founders like Phineas F. Bresee who wanted to build churches focused heavily on personal faith, practical holiness, and a deep compassion for serving the community.
Today, that rich historical legacy is exactly what keeps us moving forward. We are a dedicated family of believers who rely on God's grace to love our neighbors, guide our youth, and provide a welcoming place where anyone can feel at home.
Our physical sanctuary and facility assets are the primary engines for our active adult Sunday school, community outreach, and multimedia webcasts. The road to recovery is long, and the cost of clearing the debris, securing temporary worship spaces, and completely rebuilding our sanctuary is overwhelming. Insurance will only cover a fraction of what is required to make our ministry home safe and whole again.

Temporary Ministry Operations: Securing a safe interim space and basic audio-visual equipment so our 11:00 AM Sunday Worship Services and youth gatherings can safely continue online and in person.
