Hello, my name is Pamela, and I am reaching out to my community in a time of absolute crisis.

For over a year, I have been dealing with a severe heart condition that has left me completely unable to work. Because of this, I have no steady income and live on a strict budget, relying entirely on my 2003 Nissan Altima to get me to life-saving medical care. Living in a rural area of Glades County, Florida, my specialized medical appointments are often over an hour away.

On Wednesday, September 16, a towing company completely stripped away my medical independence. Through absolute negligence, they dropped my vehicle directly into a canal, submerging it and completely destroying it.

Because I can only afford liability-only insurance, my auto insurance company cannot provide me with a rental car or pay out for a replacement vehicle. To make matters worse, the towing company is actively giving me the runaround and refusing to provide their commercial insurance information so a claim can be filed.

This has caused an immediate medical emergency for me. This week, I was forced to cancel a critical, long-awaited appointment with my electrophysiologist an hour away because I am completely stranded in a rural area without transportation.

I am launching this fundraiser out of sheer necessity. I desperately need help to:

1. Secure a reliable, modest used vehicle so I can safely travel to my upcoming heart and specialist appointments.
2. Cover legal expenses or a retainer to hire a lawyer to force this towing company to take responsibility for what they destroyed.
