As we approach the 250th Birthday of our great nation, I'm asking for my own unique birthday request this year.

As most of you know, my eldest daughter has been in the Army Reserve for the greater of her adult life. She has been deployed to Afghanistan, where she touched hearts of the young women, encouraged and empowered others. Add Africa, two US Embassies and Tonga to her life sharing moments for our country — missing important family experiences along the way. This young woman is the definition of inner strength! 

You may see why our country has less than 1% representatives protecting our freedoms. No matter what your personal views, this is why we have daily choices without consequence. 

Since February of this year she has been competing for the highest title with various ranked soldiers. Living in CO on a reserve pay is far from equitable. I’m hoping to offset her commitment to this competition with your donation of lifting another’s spirit. She’s not aware of this fundraiser and will most likely try to deny the proceeds. That’s how humble & kind this soul is!
