Nikki was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma in November. She is currently being treated at Northwestern Center for Cancer in Chicago and is scheduled for a double mastectomy surgery. With this diagnosis, Nikki will not be able to work for at least 6 months, or longer, this loss of income has been a major hit to our family's finances. Anyone who knows Nikki, knows that she is a very hard working, caring person, mother, and wife. Nikki went into the nursing field because of her passion to help people. For years Nikki worked hard to put together a fundraiser every year to support breast cancer. Now, unfortunately, she is the one who cancer has struck and needs help.
