Brenda Abeyta’s car was completely destroyed in a rock slide. 
By the grace of God, Brenda is safe—but her car is a total loss.

At 73, Brenda has always worked hard, paid her own way, and quietly and humbly served others without asking for anything in return.

As a member of the Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites (O.C.D.S.), her faith and prayer is lived out through the countless ways she gives her time, presence, and help to those in need.

Her car wasn't just transportation; it was her lifeline for ministry and service. It carried her to:

Daily mass🙏
🕊️ Home visits through her Apostolate of "Our Lady of Fatima, Ambassador's of Mary"🙏
🙏 Prison ministry -bring Holy Communion
❤️ The Foote Center to pray with youth
🏠 Nursing homes to visit, pray with, and encourage residents
✝️ Bedsides of the dying, praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet during their final hours
🚗 Hospitals and doctor appointments, helping disabled and injured neighbors & friends who have no other way to get there

The Challenge🙏
Insurance has offered less than her car is worth and far below the cost of a safe, dependable replacement (not including registration and licensing fees).

Her other options—such as refinancing her home or covering new health expenses related to the rock slide—would create a severe financial burden on her fixed income.
