My husband, Dale, was diagnosed with Stage 3 Esophageal Cancer on September 15, 2026.  He has done his first round of chemo, and he starts chemo with radiation on November 2.  The goal is to shrink his tumor, so they can take it out.  This will be an extensive surgery, and I have been approved for FMLA.  However, it is unpaid, amd I can't afford to use it.  I need to be there for my husband at this critical time, so I am asking for help with assistance, so I can be where I need to be right now, at my husband's side.  When his surgery comes, I need to plan on being gone for a month.  I am asking for help to make this possible.  I am the only income qe have right now.  He has been approved for disability benefits, but they don't start until April.  Thank you so much.
