Help Me Make My Wife's Dream Come True ❤️

I'm hoping to do something really special for my wife, and I'm reaching out in the hope that some kind strangers might help me make her dream come true.

My wife has worked hard all her life. Before COVID, she was always on the go, enjoyed walking, getting out and about, and living life like so many of us do without giving it a second thought.

Then, in 2020, everything changed.

She caught COVID three times, including on her 50th birthday. Unfortunately, she never truly got her old life back. She has since been diagnosed with Long COVID, which has had a devastating impact on her everyday life.

Someone who once enjoyed being out and about can now manage around an hour of walking at most before needing to come home. Even that can leave her completely exhausted for the next few days.

Eventually, she had to give up working full-time and retire much earlier than she ever expected. With her income now limited to disability benefits, the financial situation we once planned our future around has changed dramatically.

One of the things we had always hoped and saved for was a new kitchen. Our current kitchen desperately needs replacing, and it's something my wife has dreamed of for a long time.

Sadly, since Long COVID changed our lives, that dream has become something we simply cannot afford on our own.

For some people, a new kitchen might seem like an ordinary thing. But because my wife now spends so much of her time at home, I'd love to give her somewhere fresh, comfortable and welcoming — somewhere she can enjoy every day.

I can't give her back the health, independence and freedom she's lost, no matter how much I wish I could. But I'd love to give her something positive to look forward to and make one of her long-held dreams come true.

That's why I've set up this fundraiser, with a goal of £15,000, to help us achieve the kitchen we've dreamed of.

I know times are difficult for many people, and I completely understand that not everyone will be in a position to donate. There is absolutely no pressure.

But if you are able to contribute even a small amount, I would be genuinely grateful. Every donation would bring us a little closer to making this happen.

I'm hoping to keep this fundraiser quiet because I'd love for it to be a surprise for my wife. I want her to know that, despite everything life has thrown at her, there are still kind people out there who can help make something good happen.
