EspañolThis page is to help raise money for Emmies emergency upcoming health journey. Over the last few years Emmies health has been declining, such as more muscle weakness, constant fatigue ,memory loss, tingling in her extremities as well as unexplained anemia. Thru everything she has continued to stay her sassy self. Unfortunately this Wednesday February 4th , they found a para spinal mass at the T-1 thru T-3 spinal area. Her Neurologist wasted no time and referrals went in at first they were planning on consults in April at the Mayo in Rochester. A call was received this afternoon (Thursday the 5th) from Ems neurologist and the team at Mayo will be reaching out with what sounds like a ASAP admittance by personal vehicle once all of her records are reviewed as they fear her tumor is fast growing. This will be putting an extreme financial burden on the family as this is very unexpected and gas, lodging, food will all need to be covered as well as accommodations at home for both of Emmies brothers while she is seeking care. At this time we do not know the extent of the tumor, the type, the treatment plan or how long she will be at the Mayo, If you can donate please do everything helps. Please keep her and the family in your prayers.

surgery update
a little push back, we had to push heart surgery back to sept UNLESS they can get her in for dental surgery . she HAS TO have dental surgery first as she she has an infection in her mouth and it is not reacting to medication as she is allergic to the main antibiotics so they have to remove those teeth as they can cause the infection to spread to her heart and lung . this surgery for her heart is also going to affect her lung ( this is her lung now that did collasped in febuary during her tumor removal ) so this is very scary . I wanna say thank you to every one who has offered to help and has donated you guys have helped majorly the expenses will be a lot we will have gas, bills at home (car payments) ,animal sitters, food expenses well at the hospital as i wont be allowed to leave Emmie's side so for snack meals or what ever i need . we will be counting with our lemonade stand ,give a hand and be doing a garage sale to help continue to raise funds as this will be a on going thing and they have already started to schedule apts in December for follow ups.
