  • Radiation is completed

Donald completed a total of 8 weeks going through daily treatment at a Proton Radiation Center in Seattle. He fought so hard and made some big strides to get back to where he was before his surgery. He is now able to speak with patients, making strides to become physically stronger, and is enjoying being able to sit up without assistance. Radiation brought up some new challenges with hair loss, loss of appetite, and the feeling of constant nausea. But even with the challenges he is still smiling and trying to be as happy as he can. Today was a huge milestone for him to complete. He will have a few weeks off of treatment before being the next round of Chemotherapy. In the meantime he will have appointments to monitor the tumor on his spine and the swelling on his brain to insure it stays manageable.

The funds will help Donald and his family with medical bills, transportation, food, bills due to this sudden medical emergency.

For the last 2 months Donald has been getting very intense headaches. Just as of recent he started to develop more symptoms such as: vomiting, vision changes, lack/poor appetite, his walking was even effected (example: he felt like one of his feet had a heavy weight on it). Monday, 03/23/2026 he was taken to the emergency room due to the symptoms above. During the emergency room visit they did a CT scan with contrast and had an MRI was performed. After the MRI they found a 4.1cm mass in the fourth ventricle of the brain. After that news Donald and his mom were immediately transferred to Doernbecher Childrens Hospital and was admitted to the pediatric ICU. He now has a drain to help relief some pressure in his brain because the brain isn't absorbing the fluid to relieve the pressure. Over the course of this week since he's been admitted in the ICU they have ran another full body MRI scan which lead to another finding of a growth on his spin. Its small in size. As of now, the most recent update is Donald will be under going brain surgery on Tuesday, March 31st, 2026. This surgery is expected to last all day. Once surgery is completed there are some possible major side effects that can set in and be noticeable, if he ends up with side effects, within 48 hours. The tumor will be immediately sent off to pathology.

I know times are tough for everyone right now. If you are able to donate that would be amazing. If your not able to donate then a sweet message or sharing this means a lot as well. We will be giving updates as we get them!
