I never thought I would have to make something like this, but I’m asking for help for my dog, Jasper.
Jasper suddenly became injured and started having trouble walking and standing comfortably. He has been in pain, yelping when touched near his lower back and legs, and at one point stopped wanting to drink water normally. I’ve been doing everything I can at home to keep him comfortable while urgently trying to get veterinary help.
I have already contacted local veterinary clinics and left urgent messages for the most affordable clinic available where my dogs are existing patients. Jasper was finally able to drink some water with assistance and was able to urinate afterward, which gave me a little hope, but he still needs a proper veterinary exam and likely pain management and diagnostic testing to find out what is wrong.
Right now, I am struggling financially and cannot cover the full cost of emergency veterinary care on my own. The estimated costs for exams, medications, X-rays, and treatment could quickly become hundreds of dollars depending on the severity of his injury.
Jasper is more than just a pet — he’s family, my emotional support, and one of my closest companions. Seeing him hurting and not being able to immediately afford all the care he needs has been heartbreaking.

Emergency veterinary exam
Pain relief medication
X-rays/diagnostic imaging
Fluids or supportive care if needed
Follow-up treatment and recovery care
