Asking for help is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, but today I’m setting my pride aside because our family truly needs it.

A few days ago, our truck’s engine blew unexpectedly. It was the one vehicle we could depend on, and now it’s sitting in the driveway while we try to figure out how we’re going to move forward.

Right now, we’re relying on an older car that burns oil and is becoming less reliable every day. Every trip we take comes with the fear that it may not make it home. The uncertainty has been overwhelming.

Reliable transportation isn’t a luxury for our family—it’s something we depend on every single day. My husband, Brian, has important doctor’s appointments that he can’t miss, and our son needs dependable transportation to get to school. We also need a vehicle for work, groceries, prescriptions, and all the everyday responsibilities that keep a family going.

We’ve exhausted every option we can think of, but the cost of replacing the engine and getting our truck back on the road is simply more than we can afford on our own.

Our goal is $9,000. These funds will go toward replacing the engine, covering labor and repair costs, and helping ensure we have a safe, dependable vehicle for our family again. Any additional funds will help with related repair expenses and keeping reliable transportation for our family.
