Thank you for taking the time to read our fundraiser, it is greatly appreciated! My name is Anna and recently my turbo went out on my car, leaving me without reliable transportation, for my family and I. My husband and I both lost our jobs this year, he has been out of work since January and I have been out since May of this year. Due to us already not having any savings or extra funds, due to a tragic medical even that almost killed my husband 3 years prior, we were living paycheck to paycheck and with what little funds my husband gets from the VA. We have not fully recovered from this, even though we still try to work hard to get back to some stability.  My husband is a disabled veteran and requires constant doctors appointments, that he must be driven to. Our son has to be taken to his school in the morning and be picked up in the afternoons as well.

This has made it extremely difficult for me to get to my my husband to his doctor’s appointments and pick up important things like medicine and other necessities. Along with my husbands medical issues, I have mine as well, and I have not been able to go to my appointments, or look for other work which requires reliable transportation. I had also enrolled to go back to college this fall and unfortunately due to my car breaking down, I am going to have to push going back to college for a further date. Having a working vehicle is crucial for our health and daily life, and without it, we are struggling to manage even basic tasks. We both need it for future doctors appointments and hopeful job prospects.

The good thing is during our search for a new Turbo for my car, a wonderful company donated a brand new Turbo for our car due to our situation. They sent the car part to the car place in Jacksonville Florida, where our car is at currently, (We are here in Brunswick GA) because there is no one near us who works on our type of cars. So now that the car place has put the new turbo on, we have to now have the work that was done on it paid for, but our car now has to be sent down to Daytona to be programmed by the dealership to work with the new turbo because the car place that we have it at, does not have the program to program it. We have a good friend of ours that owns a Tow company that is willing to go down to Jacksonville and pick up our vehicle from the car shop and take it down to Daytona for $180 out of the kindness of his heart because he has bee through our car journey with us. We have been able to secure the $180 for the Tow, we need help with the rest.

**This in all will cost $902.00 for putting the new Turbo in the car.

**Programming Cost at the dealership $580.00

The support from this fundraiser would help me repair my car so I can regain being able to take my husband to his appointments, be able to look for other jobs. Reliable transportation means I can get to medical appointments, access the pharmacy, and handle everyday needs that are essential for my family's well-being. This situation has become harder after experiencing our job losses.
If anyone could help with whatever they can, it would mean so much to me. Your kindness and generosity would make a real difference in our lives, as we are trying very hard to get back on our feet after so much loss currently.
