Hi neighbors, I'm Tabitha on S Radio Station Rd. Late yesterday evening, our farm dog Buster got struck on the muzzle by a copperhead near the woodpile. His throat and neck began swelling shut rapidly, so we had to rush him to the 24-hour emergency animal clinic in Greenville for anti-venom and airway stabilization.
The emergency clinic required a down payment to start the treatment, and the final bill for the anti-venom vial, overnight IV fluids, and monitoring is $1,620. As an hourly textile worker, this completely wipes out our rent money for this month. Buster is my kids' protector and our family companion, and I couldn't let him suffocate. Any small help or share means the world to our family. Thank you so much.
