Everyone says you should have 3 months of savings saved up and we did. Chris had his first back surgery August of 2022, and was supposed to be able to return to work 6-8 weeks later. Since then, it’s been 5 or 6 back surgeries later. My husband Chris lost his Long term disability benefits Feb 28th, 2026, and his social social security hearing May 15. It will take time to get a decision and we are praying not to get behind on everything . We’ve stayed afloat so far, but it getting unbearable now. I work full time, but we have our mortgage, rising utility bills,groceries, car insurance, gas for Chris to get to and from appointments, his medical bills and both our monthly medications. I’m humbly asking if any of my dear friends and family can help us while we are waiting on the long term disability appeal decision, and waiting on social security decision, and prayerfully with your help and donations, we can keep a roof over heads, food in our bellies, and other basic needs for the time being.
