I need help paying the legal fees to keep my granddaughter home with me. She has parents with substance abuse backgrounds. Willow came to me at 2 and a half years old following her mother's overdose. Our home is the only home she's known in 3 years. As her mother is attempting recovery and has taken me to civil court for sole custody, therefore not allowing legal help like family court would allow. Willow should not have to pay the price for the risk that her mother will not complete recovery long-term. No child should be put in a home without the assurance of stability and a bright future. If her mother should complete long-term recovery and prove she can stay sober and care for her own self plus Willow of course I would make tough decisions to do what's in Willows best interest but at this time her mother cannot prove any length to her sobriety and this 5 year old child of God should not have to pay the price of mistakes made by her parents. Please help me to finish paying the legal fees to keep her home to maintain her stability in cheerleading, gymnastics and swim because her future is unlimited with me.
