My name is Kia, and I’m asking for help as my daughter and I work to rebuild our lives and find stable housing.

Over the past several months, we have experienced housing instability and have been moving from place to place while I continue working and doing everything I can to keep us moving forward. It has been one of the most difficult seasons of my life, but I refuse to give up.

I am a hardworking mother who has spent years working with children and helping them grow, learn, and believe in themselves. Now, I’m trying to give my own daughter that same sense of stability and hope.

I am working toward a fresh start in a new state and a new chapter for both of us. I have an opportunity to continue working, but getting there and becoming established requires expenses that I simply cannot cover on my own right now.
