Our sweet daughter, Journey, came into this world far earlier than expected at just 27 weeks after a very difficult high-risk pregnancy and a sudden placental abruption that became life-threatening for both of us. After many hospital stays and complications during pregnancy, everything changed in an instant.

Journey was born weighing only 2 pounds 2.9 ounces, and she is now fighting every single day in the NICU. Even though she is so tiny, she has already shown incredible strength. She is breathing on her own with the help of a CPAP machine, keeping her own temperature, and making progress every day. We are so proud of her and thankful for every small victory, but we still have a long road ahead of us.

As parents, all we want is to be by our baby girl’s side through this journey, but the financial burden is becoming overwhelming. Between traveling expenses to and from the hospital, meals, medical-related costs, time away from work, and keeping up with our bills during this difficult time, we are struggling to stay afloat.
