On May 8, 2026, Kelis Patricia Gorham and her mother tragically lost their lives in Raleigh, NC, in a car accident while returning home from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Kelis is a proud graduate of the Prince George’s County Public Schools system in Maryland. She was preparing to enter her final year of college in the Fall. She had recently become a proud Spring 2026 initiate of the Omicron Eta Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated.

The Gorham family is asking for support with funeral and memorial expenses during this heartbreaking time. Any donation, prayer, or act of kindness is deeply appreciated.
