Kracker has lived a very spoiled life for the past 16 years. I have had him since he was a puppy, and he has been such an amazing part of my life and family. He has had siezures his entire life, and recently he had suffered a stroke… this year his seizures started coming more frequently and lasting longer than ever before. His health continues to decline, he has gained a lot of weight making his breathing difficult, as well as walking and going potty, he has to squat to pee and has diarrhea for days with no solidity to it. I called his vet to discuss options and she felt that it would be in his best intrest if he were euthanized due to his age and health issues, his quality of life would not be ideal if he were to need surgery or prolonged medication. I hate to think of life without him but when I look at him and see his pain and suffering daily my heart breaks more and more. It is selfish of me to want him here for my own reasons when he is ready to move on. His vet quoted me $385 for the euthenization, cremation and to be returned back to me. She did not tell me if that included taxes as well as his paw print and urn. I just hate to see my poor baby suffer any longer. Please any donation helps because it all adds up eventually. He has lived a very long and full life, he has traveled and been apart of my family his entire life, helped raise my kids and grandkids… Life will never be the same without him, but his life hasn't been the same since he has gotten older and is becoming more unstable by the day.
