Hello all and thank you for even looking at this!

This fund raiser is for an exploratory tumor surgery for our little girl Lagertha. She is a six year old boxer who is the center of my wife and I world. We don’t have kids and Lagertha is the closest thing we have to one. My wife never had dogs growing up and was very hesitant about getting a “large DROOLY dog” but now could be the worlds front runner for a boxer in every home campaign. I grew up with boxers and knew what amazing dogs they are and convinced her of just that.

I was always very aware of how cancer prone Boxers are and have unfortunately witnessed it first hand with a few of my previous puppies. We were very fortunate to not have to deal with anything concerning for the first few years of having Lagertha. Unfortunately last month we noticed a small bump under her belly and as of a few days ago observed it has enlarged exponentially. The vet bills themselves are expensive but of course absolutely worth it but the “quote” the vet gave us for removing the tumor, checking surrounding areas and biopsy are shocking. We are doing everything we can financially but life just tends to get in the way.

I don’t want to turn this into a major sob story about our lives but just give people with the spare means nowadays to help. We would appreciate anything that can be donated as long as we will not be taking from anyone else’s dream.  Lagertha will get her surgery one way or another, whether I’ve got to donate a foot to science or work 80 hours a week for the next year! We just know that with things like this time can have a big impact.
