My name is Jose everyone calls me Jp I found out I have lung and small cell carcinoma cancer since 2024. in January 2026 my wife of 22 years ask me for a divorce and in may of 2026 force me out into the street with no kind of resource to fend for me and my two small emotional support dogs. Not only am I facing the toughest challenges in cancer treatment but also force to live out of my vehicle . since this marriage kept me away from family members for many years it makes it hard to just show up and ask for help.

The financial strain has become extremely overwhelming. I do receive ssi but does not meet most apartment requirements. Any pet owner knows how difficult it will be to have to sent your pet to the shelter. if my situation doesn’t improve that is a very difficult choice I will have to make.
