Mustard Seed Farm has been hard at work establishing our new farm site in New Richmond, Ohio. After growing for many years on multiple temporary sites this move allows us to expand our production, improve our growing practices, and continue providing you with fresh, local produce long into the future.

However, starting a new farm comes with substantial infrastructure needs, and we're reaching out to ask for your support. Community support has always been at the heart of what we do, and now we're hoping you might consider making an additional contribution to help us get our new farm site up and running.

We are grateful for all forms of support: words of encouragement, volunteers, prayers, and donated resources! And at the moment our most needed resource is financial support. Donations of any amount are deeply appreciated! It is admittedly difficult to ask for help at a time when there are so many needs in our community and across the world. And yet we know the only way we'll reach our goals is with collective support.

There are three critical projects that will make the farm productive and sustainable, but the costs for each of them have turned out to be higher than anticipated:

Donation level 1: Water Infrastructure - $25-$250 Help us install irrigation systems and establish a water tap at the barn. Reliable water access is essential for healthy crops and efficient farm operations, especially during our hot Ohio summers.

Donation level 2: Tractor Repair- $250-$1,000 Our new (used) tractor is an essential piece of equipment to help us prepare new ground, move materials, and manage the land more efficiently, allowing us to grow more food for our members.

Donation level 3: High Tunnel - $1,000+ Support the construction of a high tunnel for season extension. This structure will enable us to provide fresh greens and vegetables throughout the winter months, extending your CSA season and increasing year-round food security.

Every contribution, regardless of size, makes a meaningful difference. You can contribute at any level that feels comfortable for you, and all donations will go directly toward these farm improvements.

Thank you for being such an important part of our farm community. We couldn't do this without you, and we're excited to grow together in New Richmond.

P.S. We'd love to host a farm tour once we're more established at the new site. Stay tuned for an invitation to come see your contributions in action!
