I’m Michael, and I’m reaching out for help for myself and my family during a difficult time. Our leased vehicle is our family’s main source of transportation, and it has developed serious engine problems that now require a full engine replacement. Because it is a leased vehicle, we need to handle the repair the right way and get it back into reliable working condition as soon as possible. I’m currently receiving SSI, and this is simply not a cost I can manage on my limited income alone. Asking for help is not easy, but dependable transportation is so important for our family’s everyday needs.

The funds from this fundraiser will help cover the replacement engine, an engine hoist, and the additional repair-related costs that come with a job like this, including supplies, fluids, gaskets, and other needed parts. I already have many of the tools needed to do much of the work myself, which should help reduce labor expenses and stretch every donation as far as possible. My goal is to get our family’s main vehicle back on the road safely and reliably.
