I just got out of a domestic abuse situation where my kids were also abused, in the midst of it all I was left homeless, sleeping in my car with my children. DCFS got involved into my life and took my kids away now I have to do so many things to get them back. I have a house and a job making pennies in the dollar but, I don't have means of transportation which is prolonging me to do hardly anything. I have to make extended walks to get to places I need to go and it's hard for me to find a better paying job because, I simply can't make commute. I'm trying to raise money to be able to get a car to take care all the things I need for my kids and, be able to get a good paying job! A little background; my kids father abused them and I and, I fought back and left. Which caused me to be homeless and DCFS to deem me an unfit parent. The thing is I've been there for my kids throughout their whole life and, can't possibly see myself living without them. I lost a child back in 2022 and things in my life have gone downhill from there. I'm so depressed without my kids and most nights I stay up til 4-5am avoiding sleep to escape the nightmares of my lost child. When my kids were here it was so much easier without them I'm tore. I'm a hard working parent so I don't ask for anything but just a stepping stone to allow me to be in a better position for my babies. Anything and everything would help !
