Last evening, our dear friends Crystal and Jimmy experienced every pet family's worst nightmare.

Their sweet boy, Jackson, was struck by a car in front of their home. The driver left the scene without stopping. Crystal and their 10-year-old daughter rushed Jackson to the emergency veterinarian, with Jackson cradled in their daughter's arms. Despite everyone's efforts, he did not survive.

The O'Mara family is a kind, hardworking family with two young daughters, two other dogs, two cats, two ferrets, and chickens. Their animals are truly part of their family, and the loss of Jackson has left them absolutely heartbroken.
Along with their grief, they are now facing a $1,200 emergency veterinary bill.
