I’m a single mom of a beautiful little girl, our apartment got bought out and the new property manager did us dirty and we had no place to call home and lost everything beside a few outfits. The only place we could stay was 2 hours away from what we knew as home. I have found a job already and have been working but I dont make enough to get a place to live for us, find us a decent vehicle and everything needed for a place when we find one. My daughter and I have been staying at a hotel next to my work until I can fine us housing but it’s on the opposite side of town of the schools, doctors office, and it’s not in walking distance of anything. I have no way to get her to the doctor to get her physical done so she can start school or to get her to and from school on the days she has it after she gets started…. I’ve been working with the housing authority to try and get us a place but once we get a place I don’t know how im going to be able to get to and from work bc all the housing is on the opposite side of town of my job. I dont like asking for help but I really dont know what to do right now I only make 11$/ hour and it’s part time but it’s the only place I’m walking distance to. I honestly want to get a second job because I know im going to really struggle getting started over on my own but I’d need a vehicle to get to and from.
