I am a mother of two, and I made the difficult decision to leave my marriage after being treated badly and living through a painful situation. I took my children with me because I wanted to give them a safer and more peaceful life.

Today, my children and I are living between a tent and our car. We are struggling to afford food, shelter, clothing, and other basic necessities.

I never imagined that starting over would be this difficult. But I have not given up. I want to rebuild our lives, find a safe and stable home for my children, and give them the future they deserve.
