UPDATE 05/03/2026:   David still has not found a steady job, only “odd jobs” and his unemployment is about to run out. I am still working part-time. We have been making it by the skin of our teeth and the grace of God, but now we are having trouble with both of our vehicles. My car is totally out of service due to the alternator & battery going out unexpectedly (evidently that's common for my car model) and the air conditioning has gone out in David's truck, just in time for summer.  Instead of starting a whole new fundraiser, I am posting this one again to try to meet our previous goal, since the same issues are happening and we are still risking homelessness. Please help and donate if you can. I hate having to ask for everybody's help, and I really appreciate all the help that has been given and any that will be given in the future. Thank you. 

This fundraiser is to help my family make ends meet for the next 1-2 months so we can avoid homelessness. My husband was let go from his job the day before Thanksgiving. The company he worked for downsized and eliminated his position. We are currently supporting ourselves and our grandson on what I get from my part-time job. This is not sustainable. We have applied for social services, unemployment, etc, but in the meantime we have to keep the wolf from the door. The money that is raised will go towards our rent, utility bills, car payment/transportation costs. Please, if you have a little bit to spare, my family and I would be beyond grateful for the help.
