Our dearest Auntie, Grandma, Mom, Aunt, Sister, Wife! Aunt T was involved in a horrible accident leaving her in a medically induced coma. On May 4, 2026 a nearby flame ignited her oxygen tubing. That tubing was connected to her face. Her husband of 36 years grabbed the tubing as soon as he heard the woosh of fire. She experienced severe burns to her face! When everything ignited she went into cardiac arrest. Thankfully a family friend was able to start CPR immediately. Between her home and the second hospital she experienced 3 more cardiac events, totaling 20 minutes without proper blood flow to her brain. It has been a grueling 9 days for the family. Hope, dispare, fatigue, and now we start the process. We received the news that close to 80% of her brain functionality has been compromised. We have to think about quality of life. She would tell us she loves us and to be strong. She would tell us she cant live in the manner it would require her to live to keep her on life support. With the heaviest heart we must prepare to see her in Heaven. We are asking for donations to help the family with funeral expences, medical costs, and the opportunity for her husband to grieve without worrying about the 9-5. Prayer and support is what can help Aunt T and Uncle Kevin at this time.
