I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer just before Christmas. Then I had my thyroid taken out March 4th of this year. Then I started my thyroid treatment on October 4th. I've been having to go to the doctor for shots labs and I will have scans this week. The next week I will have more shots labs and I go take the pill and I will be off of work for 2 to 3 days I'm unable to be by people because of the cuz of the. Then the next week I go and have my scan to see how well the radioactive iodine worked for my. And after this treatment I will still have to go and have Labs every so often have a more scans just to make sure that the cancer has not came back.
