Robyn Combs and her husband Clifford, both veterans, are the owners of Rockin' Robyn's Diner, a 50s-style, veteran-owned diner at 7039 Old Saint Louis Road in Belleville, Illinois. For years, they have served our community, including many active and retired military customers, with hearty breakfast, lunch, and dinner, fresh-made biscuits and gravy, burgers, crinkle fries, and now chicken wings, all in generous portions at fair prices.
In May 2026, Robyn was in a serious motorcycle accident. Since then, she has endured more than seven surgeries for a shattered pelvis and many other injuries. She now faces a long rehabilitation to learn to walk again.
When Robyn is ready to go home, her bathroom will need to be made accessible. Right now, it can't be used by someone in her situation. Your donations will go toward modifying her bathroom so she can safely and independently use it during her recovery.
Robyn and Clifford have also faced significant financial hardship. With the help of friends and the community, they have kept the diner doors open, but they have fallen into considerable debt in the process. Any amount you can give, and every share, helps bring Robyn home and supports a hardworking veteran couple who have given so much to this community.
Thank you for your kindness and support. If you'd like to stop by and show your support in person, the diner is open at 7039 Old Saint Louis Road in Belleville.
