As a liver transplant survivor, I thought the worst of my health issues were behind me. Unfortunately my kidneys suffered severe damage from that operation. Eight years after that surgery I suffered kidney failure this June and I’ve been on dialysis ever since. I’m unable to work and have a few months to wait before disability benefits will be paid. I’ve been living off my retirement fund which is now depleted due to the unbelievable health expenses I’ve incurred. 

Being as stubbornly prideful as I am, I’ve never asked for financial assistance and it’s very difficult for me to do so. My hope is to get through the next few months until my benefits kick in. In the meantime any help my friends can provide along with this Give A Hand fund is my best hope. I would be so grateful if you are able to help in any way you can.
