About this fundraiser

In Loving Memory of Andrea “Andi” Sledge

On October 4th the world lost an amazing human. Our world changed forever with the sudden and tragic loss of our Andi.

Andi was so much more than a name.  She was a beloved wife, mom, sister, aunt, daughter, niece, coworker, and friend.  She was the kind of person who made an impact simply by being herself.  Her laugh was contagious.  As one quoted: “To know Andi was to love her"… this is an understatement and if you had the privilege of knowing her, you know what I mean.

Andrea spent 24 years serving others in the medical community as a cardiovascular tech and a supervisor of the cardiac cath lab at Sacred Heart Medical Center.  She dedicated her life to caring for people and helping those around her.  She gave so much of herself to her family, her friends, her coworkers and the people she cared for throughout her career.  Meantime, she was juggling duties of being a mom of 3: dance recitals, dinners, carpooling and just being a mom to beautiful daughters and a wife to a wonderful husband.

Her life was taken far too soon in a tragic accident that she could not survive. There are no words that can adequately describe the heartbreak her family and everyone who loved her are experiencing right now.   Her loss was sudden & devastating, and her family is now facing the unimaginable task of saying goodbye while trying to navigate the many expenses that come with losing someone so unexpectedly.

We are starting a fundraiser to help ease the financial burden of funeral and final arrangements for Andi.  Our hope is to give her family the ability to focus on grieving, remembering and being together rather than worrying about how they will pay for everything that comes with this heartbreaking loss.

If you knew Andi, you know how deeply she loved the people in her life.  Her daughters: Emory 13, Addison 11 and Finley 11.  Her husband Jamey who has the unimaginable pain without his other half.  Now it is our turn to surround her family with the same love & support.

If you are able to contribute, no amount is too small.  Every donation will go toward helping her family with the funeral and related expenses. And if you are not in a position to donate, sharing this fundraiser, keeping her in your thoughts, praying for her family or simply sharing a memory of Andi means more than you know.

Andi spent 24 years caring for others. Now it's our turn to take care of her family.

Thank you for loving Andi, for remembering her and for helping her family through the most difficult time imaginable.

Rest peacefully Andi. You were loved, you are loved, you are missed and you quite certainly, will never be forgotten.
