Barbara has been a retired nurse and long time volunteer at Dogs and Cats Forever animal shelter. She is an unbelievably kind soul that has dedicated so much of her time to helping the animals and serving her community.

Barbara has always given so much love to others. She has taken on the “momma bear” role making sure that everyone is always safe and taken care of. 

She recently experienced a devastating loss. A fire in her home resulted in the loss of all her beloved pets. 3 dogs and 4 cats. Anyone who knows her, knows that those animals were her children. She loved them like family and they were her whole world.   

Nothing will replace what she has lost but we hope to help her to recover from the damages so she can move back home. 

The fire caused severe smoke damage that will need repairs to the home. Many of her furniture and appliances may need to be replaced. Even simple items like clothes and bedding were ruined and need to be replaced.

Her friends are asking for donations to help with the expenses from this tragedy.
