Hi everyone, my name is Sonya, and I am raising my 13-year-old grandson Easton. 

Easton loves baseball, his dogs Pax,Dega,Easton, also in JROTC.For the last 12 years, we have lived peacefully in our single-wide mobile home. It is our safe haven and the place my grandson knows as home. Unfortunately, our world has been turned upside down, and we are facing a very urgent and stressful housing crisis. The property owner where we rent our lot is selling the property, we have to be off the property by September.6,2026.

Because we own the mobile home itself, we don't just have to pack our boxes—we have to physically move our entire house to a new location. If we do not move our home, we will lose our home that we have worked so hard for, entirely.                                     As a grandparent raising a grandchild on a fixed income, I simply do not have the funds required for a move of this magnitude. Moving a mobile home is incredibly expensive and requires professional contractors. We are trying to raise $12,000 to cover the following expenses:

**Tear-down and Setup:** Disconnecting utilities, removing skirting, and reconnecting everything at the new site.

**Transportation:** Hiring a specialized towing company, replacing old tires/axles, and acquiring highway permits.

**New Lot Expenses:** The deposit and first month's rent for a new piece of land or mobile home park.

We are desperately trying to raise these funds before September.6,2026 so we can move our home, and not lose everything.
