Hello, my name is Melissa Burch myself and my siblings are trying to raise money to help our mom and dad, as they have exhausted, their savings in medical expenses over the last 3 plus years. mom has been diagnosed with a cancer causing gene and this is where this all started medically and through all the surgeries have developed extreme scar tissue and fistulas within her abdomen causing severe infections. mom has had several surgeries and now is battling and facing more surgery in Pheonix Arizona as her case is now complex to much so for surgeons in Texas. Also, our dad has gotten neck and back injuries and has had to be off for two surgeries himself. The next step is my mom and myself has to travel to the mayo clinic hospital in phoenix Arizona as soon as the doctors get her medical records and go over them for what they can do to help. Expenses will include medical, travel, food, and personal bills for both mom and dad. Any funds donated would be much appreciated within the next two plus weeks because that is when my mom's surgery is projected to possibly take place and dad's next surgery is august 24.
