Help Support Rachel Reeves & Our Family Through This time.

Goal: $5,000

For the past week and a half, our family has been navigating one of the hardest trial we have ever faced. My incredible wife, Rachel, has been hospitalized with severe, debilitating stomach issues that have left her unable to keep down food or water. Over the last two months, she has lost 44 pounds, blood tests are still coming back critical, alarming levels.

Doctors are currently running extensive tests, including  evaluations for gastroparesis, and are going to install a feeding tube, which is called a J tube to help her get the nutrition that she needs and may possibly even send her home, evaluating her with the J tube until they can figure out what is going on. She is going through multiple rounds IV nutrition which is currently taking a toll on her veins. As you can imagine, watching someone you love suffer through this while having more questions than answers has been overwhelming.

Rachel is an amazing mother, a devoted partner, and the heart of our home. Our children, Hadlee and Baylor, miss their mom terribly, and the weight of managing daily life, work, Now Bills and daily expenses as have increased and has taken a massive toll. At this point, we don’t know what it’s going to look like as far as medical bills on the backend or even if she will need the feeding tube forever or if it is temporary, we know insurance will not cover certain things. We have been so blessed and humbled by family members stepping in to help care for the kids and our dog, but the financial strain on our household has grown heavier by the day.

We are trying to raise $5,000 to help cover essential household bills and keep our heads above water while we figure everything out and navigate this unknown road.

Asking for help does not come easily to us. We are fiercely private people who usually try to weather storms on our own, but we have reached a point where we need to swallow our pride so we can keep our family stable and support Rachel without the constant weight of financial panic.

We are praying for healing, trusting in God's will, and taking it one day at a time. Any contribution whether it is a donation toward our goal, sharing our story, or keeping Rachel in your thoughts and prayers means the world to our family.
