A Survivor Asking for a Little Help 🩷
In July 2025, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Those words changed my life, and the journey since then has been more challenging than I ever imagined.
In January 2026, I underwent a right-side mastectomy. After surgery, I faced complications that led to three hospitalizations. In May, I developed sepsis, and in July, I was hospitalized twice and experienced another infection. My recovery has taken time, strength, and faith, and throughout it all, I have been unable to work.
I’ve always been a giver. Helping others has been a part of who I am, and I’ve given from my heart whenever I could. Asking for help is not easy for me, but today I find myself needing a little support.
I’m raising funds to help pay for my basic necessities while I continue to heal and work toward getting back on my feet. Any amount you’re able to give would mean so much to me. If you’re unable to donate, sharing my campaign or keeping me in your prayers would also be a beautiful gift.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any kindness you can offer. I am grateful for every prayer, encouraging word, and helping hand.
With love and gratitude,
Sheila 🩷
