Ava is my five year old cancer warrior Diagnosed at just 7 months old with a malignant rhabdoid tumor in her right kidney; she has undergone countless surgery including a radical nephrectomy (her kidney was removed) and 39+ weeks of chemotherapy and 8 radiation treatments and hospital stays. We thought we were in the clear as she turns 6 this year…but her most recent scans have shown some concerning results so we are just preparing for whatever is going to happen.
