  • Hi everyone! It’s Andrea. This is very late but life is very busy but I thought to update ya'll. Her Duodenal Atresia surgery went well. She did have an incision infection during her recovery time but she recovered from that after a few weeks. Fixing this helps her be able to digest and keep her milk in her tummy and prevents her from vomiting.

Her oxygen and her weight fluctuate weekly. The doctors and surgeons so far plan on having her heart surgery to fix her Atrioventricular Canal Defect (AVSD) around 4 months old. We are hoping it will be around the end of July early August. We are praying it will be around that time since its a big step closer to coming home. Recovery should be about 6 weeks. Her breathing should hopefully level out and she will be able to be off oxygen. She will then try to bottle feed or get a G-tube to be able to receive milk and medicine safely. 🙏🏻

Her Hirschsprung's surgery will occur when she is close to 10lbs (she's 8lbs as of June). After her recovery her digestion and elimination should work perfectly 🙏🏻

Your prayers have helped us so much dealing with not having our baby home yet. We appreciate those so much! This has definitely been the hardest time more than we've imagined but our girl is so brave and strong and she will soon be able to come home and stay ❤️.

We also tremendously appreciate and will be forever grateful for your donations. This has been helped us with travel expenses along with car maintenance to go visit her on the weekends that we cannot afford on a one income household. You all are amazing and we thank God daily for you all!

If you are able to send prayers, donations and shares our way that will continue to help us visit our precious baby girl. She is the brightest little light and is a favorite among the nicu nurses 🥰. We love her so incredibly much and we know this is just a little tough part in her wonderful life she will have. God is faithful! Thank you all! -Andrea, Nathan, Emma and Baby Everly

Sweet Everly made her arrival this past week, already showing how strong and precious she is. She was born with Down Syndrome and a heart defect that she will need a surgery soon for, and she will need to stay in the NICU for several weeks as she receives the specialized care she needs. During this unexpected and challenging time, the Mays family is facing significant medical, childcare, and day-to-day living expenses while also caring for their 2yr old daughter. Any funds raised here will go directly to supporting their needs—helping cover medical costs, providing childcare support, and easing the financial strain so they can focus fully on loving and caring for Everly. Any donation, big or small, would be such a meaningful blessing to their family during this time.
