Meet Oliver, my beloved fur ball little boy. Oliver was rescued when he was 6 months old, and has been a blessing in my life for a little over 10 years now.  Last month I discovered what appeared to be an abscess on his upper gum region of his mouth, it was pink and looked inflamed. First thing in the morning I took him to the vet and was told it appeared to be a tumor. He was immediately prepped for surgery and the tumor along with four teeth were removed. He finished his antiboidics and has been surprisingly playful, is eating all his meals, and grooming regularly. Last week, I received call from vet that results from biopsy were in and the prognosis was not great. Tumor was found to be an aggressive round cell malignant tumor. Further testing is required to determine whether it is a Mast Cell Tumor, Plasma Cell Tumor or Lymphoma. If you are a pet parent you know that ive already spent far beyond my means to get this far. The goals are to first get the further testing to find out which type of cancer it is and how advanced it is at moment. Secondly, to meet with the oncologist to see if it has spread into surrounding tissue or bones, at which point we will hopefully be able to get a treatment plan or quality of life plan  so that i can do everything in my power to make sure whatever amount of life Oliver does have to be the most healthy, painless and enjoyable time possible. I am unmarried and don’t have children, so Oliver (and Chaos) are the two little heartbeats i share my day to day life with. I feel so blessed to be his caretaker and both him and his brother bring me so much joy. if you have ever enjoyed my chalk art on your daily walk, met me in the late night hours in process of chalking, or have seen me working in my yard I am hopeful to recieve some assistance with our situation. If you are in any position to contribute financially with costs for testing/oncologist bills/cancer treatment, Oliver and I (Chaos too!) would be FURever greatful. I understand finances are very tight for everyone at moment so if you’re not able to give monetarily, i would appreciate your prayers. Earnestly Pray that i would not become anxious or overwhelmed and that i trust in the Lord and give full surrender to Hi’m.
