For six long, grueling years, we have fought an exhausting battle. We endured deep pain, and heartbreaking circumstances, watching our children's father slowly crumble and bring us down with him. His severe drug addictions, heavy alcoholism, horrific choices, and the dangerous situations he repeatedly put my children into have been a nightmare to navigate, especially with a heartbreaking lack of adequate support systems or resources for women and children in our state.

We are finally ready to break free, leave this environment behind, and move to an area known for strong, supportive communities where women, children, and families can heal, find resources, and truly thrive.
