  • Help us while we continue to help Luke on his recovery

Hey guys., just wanted to give an update on Luke. A few weeks ago Luke was transferred from Seattle to a place in Idaho. This place specializes in helping people, who have trachs, to get off of them or at least get better with them. Insurance only covers this for so long and now they are telling us that he has to go to a different “skilled” facility because he is doing better with his breathing but he is not awake yet. In order to do so, we have to come up with at least $24,000 so that he can be airlifted to his next destination, because it would be too big of a risk right now to move him by ambulance because it would be a 6 hour drive. We hate asking for help, but there is no way we will be able to do this on our own. If there is anything that anyone is able to donate it would be so so appreciated. Thank you so much

About this fundraiser

Friends and family - on June 3rd Luke suffered a serious stroke. He was taken to the local ER in Centrailia. And was then transferred to Olympia where they intubated him. On June 6th he was lifeflighted to a higher level of care hospital in Seattle. Since then Luke has gone through over 4 surgeries/procedures to try to fix the damage caused by the stroke. He is responding to stimulants and his reflexes are in tact which is a good sign. Prayers are being answered. He does however have a long recovery ahead of him. He is and has been unconscious since June 4th. With that being said, Luke is the sole provider for his family. We are hoping that since we come from such a generous community that we can find people to potentially help us financially so that it is less of a stress and so we can focus all of our attention and energy into helping Luke heal. We would love it if people could help us and shower us with love, support, and if possible financial help. If you can’t donate funds please join us by sending prayers and good thoughts for not only Luke, but also his family during this time.
