Wayne and I are in crisis right now, and I'm reaching out because we desperately need help getting out of this motel and back into stable housing.

We were living in an apartment until our landlord refused to renew our lease. The maintenance team had poured a 2 to 3 inch cement barrier at our door, which created serious accessibility problems for us since we both use wheelchairs. When we asked for it to be fixed, nothing happened. Instead, we were evicted.

Now we're living in a motel at $400 a week, and it's draining every penny we have. The longer we stay here, the further behind we fall. We need help with emergency bills and a deposit to get into an apartment where we can have stability and dignity again.
