My name is Johnathan, and I was diagnosed with End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), also known as Stage 5 kidney disease, in the summer of 2025. I began dialysis in November of that year, and since then, my life has changed in many ways. I’ve had to make significant adjustments to my career, housing, and transportation while managing the challenges of treatment.

I am grateful to share that I have recently been placed on the kidney transplant waiting list. As I prepare for the transplant process, I will need to travel across state lines for appointments, testing, and, ultimately, the transplant itself. These trips often require transportation, lodging, and extended time away from home.

This fundraiser is intended to help ease the financial burden on both me and the family and friends who have generously stepped forward to support me. Donations will help cover transplant-related medications, travel expenses, lodging, and medical visits throughout this journey.
