À propos de cette collecte de fonds

My name is Wesley, though most people call me Wes, and I'm reaching out because I'm facing the fight of my life. I was recently diagnosed with throat cancer, and while I'm committed to beating this, the reality of treatment has changed everything for me.

I've spent my whole life being the person everyone could count on. When someone needed help, I showed up. When things got tough for others, I did what I could to support them. It's who I am. But right now, I find myself on the other side of that equation, and I have to admit, it's humbling.

The cancer treatments I need are intense, and they've made it impossible for me to work. That's the part that keeps me up at night. Without my income, the bills don't stop coming. My insurance payments are due. Medical co-pays keep adding up. There's rent, utilities, food on the table. All of it still needs to happen while I'm focused on getting well.

I'm not someone who asks for help easily. But I also know that survival means more than just fighting the cancer itself. It means keeping a roof over my head, keeping my insurance active so I can get the treatment I need, and making sure I have enough to eat while my body is working to heal. Right now, that feels impossible to do alone.

This is where I need you. I'm raising $50,000 to cover my medical co-pays, insurance premiums, rent, utilities, food, and all the other expenses that keep life going while I'm in treatment. Every single dollar makes a real difference. No amount is too small.

I believe I can beat this. I have to believe that. But I can't do it if I'm worried about losing my home or my insurance in the middle of treatment. If you're able to help, you have no idea what it would mean to me. You'd be giving me the chance to focus on what matters most right now: getting well.

Thank you for reading my story. Thank you for considering helping. And thank you for reminding me that I don't have to face this alone.
