In January of this year, our family experienced a devastating loss when my father’s home was destroyed by a fire. Around the same time, my grandmother was sent back home to Liberia. Since then, our family has faced one hardship after another. Sadly, on June 18, 2026, my grandmother passed away in Liberia. Her passing has been heartbreaking, especially after everything our family has already endured. We are now doing our best to make the necessary arrangements for her burial. Due to the financial difficulties our family is facing, we have not been able to complete the arrangements as quickly as we had hoped. We are currently planning for her burial in November 2026..This has been an incredibly painful and overwhelming time for our family.
