I never thought I would have to ask for help like this, but I’m trying my best to bring my dog, Salvador, safely home with me to Colombia.

Because of my current immigration situation in the United States, I have to leave the country sooner than I expected. Salvador is still in the United States, and unfortunately, he cannot travel with me right away because he recently received his first rabies vaccination. Colombian regulations require him to wait 21 days before he can enter the country.

I’m already working on everything he needs: his USDA veterinary examination, health certificate, transportation, and all the documentation required for him to enter Colombia legally and safely.

The hardest part is that I don’t have anyone who can take care of him while I’m gone. I also don’t want to give him away because Salvador is my family. He has been with me through so much, and the thought of having to leave him behind breaks my heart. 🥺🐶

The money raised will help cover his veterinary expenses, boarding while he waits for the required 21 days, transportation to Miami, his flight/cargo transportation to Colombia, and any necessary documentation or fees.

Anything helps, even $5 or simply sharing this fundraiser with someone who might be able to help. I know times are difficult for everyone, so I’m genuinely grateful for anything you can do.

I just want to be able to bring Salvador home safely and start this next chapter of my life with him. ❤️🇨🇴🐾
