I am reaching out in a moment of urgent need, sharing a deeply painful story that I never thought I would have to tell. On May 7th, my life was completely upended when I was raped. Following the assault, my attacker relentlessly stalked me, forcing me to live in constant fear until he was finally arrested and put in jail.

We went through the entire grueling process of a jury trial. Even though the prosecution presented bodycam footage of him openly admitting to what he did to me, the jury returned a verdict of not guilty.

The emotional, mental, and physical toll of this trauma—and the devastating failure of the justice system—has left me completely drained. The ripple effect of this crisis has deeply impacted my life, and my household has now been given a hard deadline of July 31st to vacate our current living situation.

While I am back to working and can sustain my monthly expenses moving forward, I am completely stuck when it comes to the massive upfront costs of relocating to a safe, stable new environment. We have roughly six weeks to find a new place, but due to the chaos of the last few months, we simply do not have the savings for an immediate security deposit and application fees.

Our goal is $1,000 to help us cover these immediate transition costs so we can secure a safe roof over our heads by August 1st.

Every dollar raised will go directly toward:

 A security deposit for a safe, secure place to live.

 Housing application fees.

 First month's rent to secure a new lease.
