Sometimes I look at my grandma and I can tell she’s worried, even when she tries not to show it. I wish I could help her. I wish I could make things easier so she wouldn’t have to worry about where we’re going to sleep or how we’re going to get through another day.

I know I’m only 12, and there’s not a lot I can do, but I thought maybe if I told our story, someone would listen.

My grandma has always been there for us, and now I just want somebody to be there for her.

I don’t need anything special. I just want my grandma, my siblings, and me to be okay. ❤️
